Dear Professional School Counselors,

You are invited to participate in a self-report survey as a part of a quantitative research study about school counselor burnout and engagement. My name is Byeolbee Um, a doctoral candidate in the Counselor Education and Supervision program at the University of Iowa. I am currently collecting data for the study about the impact of various individual and organizational factors on school counselors’ burnout and engagement. This study is approved by the University of Iowa Institutional Review Board.

In order to participate in this study, you must meet the following criteria:

(a) currently working as a practicing school counselor

(b) holding updated school counseling certification or licensure

Participants will be asked to take a survey, which will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

A $50 Amazon gift card will be given to 20 participants who agree to enter the raffle. E-mail addresses will be collected and separately managed just for compensation. Your participation is completely voluntary.
