Experiences of Rural School Counselors Delivering Small Group Interventions with Multilingual Learners

Hello School Counselors!

You are invited to participate in a research project conducted by Drs. Malti Tuttle (Auburn University), Leonissa Johnson (Clark Atlanta University), and Lucy Purgason (Oregon State University – Cascades).

Purpose: We are conducting a research study exploring the experiences of school counselors working in rural settings, who deliver small group interventions with multilingual learners.

Eligibility: You are eligible to participate if you:

  1. Identify as a School Counselor Working in a Rural Setting in the United States.
  2. Deliver Small Group Interventions with Multilingual Learners.
  3. Are willing to complete a demographic screening survey, one recorded semi-structured interview, and review interview transcripts and themes.
  4. Are 19 years or older.

Participants who complete the study will receive an incentive for their involvement.
