As School Counselors we wear a variety of hats, not least of which is supporting relationships of student to student as well as student to staff. Restorative practices (RP) are fundamentally about relationships, community building, and trust so we want to share with you ways in which these practices can support the work we do everyday.

In this session you will learn the basics of RP such as planning and facilitating circles, the restoration of harm, and how to be an agent of change in your school community.  Together, we will explore various practices that allow us to resolve relational challenges "WITH" our students and families and not exact punishment "TO" them.
