#MASCAReads Book Club

The #MASCAReads Book Club is partnering again with the MASCA Professional Development Committee to offer 10 PDPs for our next book study. You can earn 10 PDPs by completing the following:

1.     Read the book.

2.     Register for the February-April Club here

3.     Attend 2 Book Club meetings via Zoom to discuss the book.

4.     Attend 1 additional Book Club Zoom meeting with the author.

5.     Complete a learning activity based on the book content.

For the time period of February 2025 - April 2025, we will be reading 15-Minute Counseling Techniques that Work: What You Didn't Learn in Grad School by Allison Edwards.  One reviewer wrote, “WOW- This book is incredible! The techniques inside can be used with children, teens, adults, families, and groups! There is so much information that can be adapted and changed..."

The Zoom meeting times are as follows:

  • Thursday February 13, 2025 – 4pm – 5pm (EST)
  • Tuesday March 11, 2025 – 4pm – 5pm (EST)
  • Wednesday, April 16, 2025 – 4pm – 5pm (EST) - Author's visit!
