Join Us for an In-Person 504 Training Workshop!

Join MASCA and your colleagues on Tuesday November 5 for a 504 training workshop.  This in-person workshop, led by Felicia Vasudevan, an attorney specializing in Education Law and Special Education Law, will be held at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA from 8:00 am-3:00 pm*. Our day will be filled with engaging keynotes, and jump into a 4-hour workshop by Felicia. The training will cover all elements of Section 504 from determining eligibility, writing 504 Plans, assessing needs for extracurriculars and transportation to addressing claims of discrimination.  Counselors will walk away with how to practically handle different 504 questions or situations that arise in their schools.  They will understand how to respond and address difficult situations that arise in their practice.

The cost of the program will be $50 for members and $75 for non-members which will include a year of membership.  You must pre-register here.  The deadline to register is October 25.

*Attendees may be awarded 10PDPs for their participation in the day- more details will be provided upon registration.
