We are faculty members in the Department of Counselor Education at the University of Iowa and are reaching out to you regarding our research study titled, “Animal-Assisted School Counseling: A Survey of School Counselors' Perspectives and Practices”.  We are seeking school counselors who are currently using animal-assisted school counseling (AASC) with therapy dogs. The purpose of this study is to explore school counselors’ perceptions and experiences with AASC. This study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board at the University of Iowa. This brief survey will take about 10 minutes to complete. Participation in the study is totally voluntary, and responses are entirely anonymous. We will not share any identifiable data and will only report the results in aggregate to protect participant responses.
