Celebrate Women's History Month with a Counselor of Color Panel

Since 2018, five of the eight Massachusetts School Counselors of the Year (SCOY) are counselors of color, including Sugeily Santos, Curley K-8 School, Jamaica Plain (2025), Andrea Encarnacao-Martin (2023), Boston Latin School, Tama Lang (2022), Sgt. Robert R. Litwin School, Chicopee, Jessica Descartes (2021), TechBoston Academy and Merylina Asselin (2018), Westfield High School.

Join this panel of accomplished school counselors and leaders who will share their stories, including their successes and challenges.  We know that the school counseling profession is very challenging, in particular for our counselors of color.  Come to listen and learn and leave feeling affirmed, valued and inspired.

This virtual meeting is open to all so please join us.  You must pre-register here.
