February 11 SAC/SSW SIG Meeting

  • 11 Feb 2026
  • 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
  • via zoom

The SAC/SSW (School Adjustment Counselor/School Social Worker) SIG will meet on Wednesday, February 11 from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM. Margot Tracy, from the MassHealth School-Based Medicaid Program (SBMP) and Emily Hall, from ForHealth Consulting at UMass Medical, will provide general program updates and share information about the federal grant that is funding a professional learning community (PLC). The PLC provides targeted school Medicaid training to school-based behavioral health staff that incorporates best practices in school mental health. The SBMP offers local schools an opportunity to receive federal dollars to offset costs for providing certain Medicaid-covered direct services in a school setting including eligible SAC/SSW services.

This Special Interest Group is geared for members serving as a School Adjustment Counselor/School Social Worker or in a related clinical role.

To participate, you must pre-register here.
