Let’s Make History Again! Help Plan MASCA’s March at Boston Pride!

Are you a school counselor who identifies as LGBTQ+?  Please join us for our next meeting on February 5, from 9:30-10:30 via zoom.

Walking in the Boston Pride Parade last year with MASCA's LGBTQ+ Affinity Group was amazing:  electric energy, the cheers, and the joy of representing our MASCA community as our authentic selves! It was our first time, it was a huge success, and now... we are ready to do it again!

The MASCA LGBTQ+ Affinity Group is gearing up for an even more spectacular event this year, and we need YOU to help bring the vision to life. We are officially kicking off our planning season and looking for enthusiastic folks to join our Pride Parade Sub-Committee.

Why You Should Join Us:

  • Be Part of the Magic: Help design our presence and amplify our message of support and inclusion.
  • Find Your Community: Connect with fellow LGBTQ+ school counselors in a space that is affirming, safe, and strictly confidential.
  • Come As You Are: Whether you are a seasoned activist or have never attended a meeting before, you are welcome here. We honor you wherever you are in your personal and professional journey.

Let’s come together to make this year’s Pride the best one yet. We can’t wait to see your faces and hear your ideas!

To participate in the February 5 meeting, you must pre-register here.

Registration for MASCA members, family members and colleagues who wish to participate in the parade will go live once a date and time are confirmed.  In the meantime, if you have any questions or wish to volunteer to help in some way, email Denise Evans.
