Know Your Rights: ICE Encounters in Schools
Join Erika Richmond Walton, an attorney with Lawyers for Civil Rights in Boston, for a Know-Your-Rights session focused on navigating immigration enforcement encounters in school settings. Designed specifically for school counselors and staff, this presentation will cover the legal rights of students and families, what to do if ICE appears on or near campus, and how school personnel can respond in ways that protect and support immigrant communities.
