 School Adjustment Counselors/School Social workers SIG Next Meeting

The SAC/SSW (School Adjustment Counselor/School Social Worker) SIG will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, September 9 from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM. Our very special guest will be Commissioner Pedro Martinez of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Commissioner Martinez will deliver remarks relevant to the essential work done by SSW/SAC’s in supporting the mental health, social emotional growth and academic success of our students. There will also be a short, open time for questions and answers with the Commissioner. If you have specific questions in advance of our meeting that you would like the Commissioner to address, please email them to Anne no later than September 1.

This Special Interest Group is geared for members serving as a School Adjustment Counselor/School Social Worker or in a related clinical role. New members are welcome to join at any meeting!

Please join the meeting promptly at 9:00 AM to ensure that you hear Commissioner Martinez.
